Penrith City Gridiron is a non-professional, full contact Gridiron (American Football) team based in the Western Suburbs of Sydney, Australia.
Gridiron NSW is the states Governing body and oversees the State Competition's, Men's (18+) Colts (15-19) and the newly formed Women's League.
In 2014 the Club is set to Compete in the Colts (15-19) League. Further to that the club is taking interest for players for both the Mens (18+) and Women's Teams
Penrith City Chiefs were established in 1993, whilst Penrith City Outlaws were established in 1995.
In 2002 Penrith City Gridiron won its first Division Championship, when the Outlaws defeated the Sydney Uni Lions in Waratah Bowl VIII.
In 2013 the club has undergone a transformation and is now know as the Penrith City Grizzlies. The club will remain in its famous colours of Navy and Orange, and will hope to continue the clubs fantastic history by returning to its winning ways.
Penrith City Gridiron are always looking for Gridiron enthusiasts at all levels to share in this clubs great history and tradition.
